Where is Lubbers Quarters?
Lubbers Quarters lies protected from ocean swells in the clear, turquoise Sea of Abaco. Located between Marsh Harbour and Elbow Cay (pronounced “key”), approximately 3 miles south of Hope Town, it is one mile long and ½ mile wide. The island offers secluded beaches for swimming, sunbathing or shell collecting, paths for walking or jogging among lush tropical flora and foliage, bird watching, and lots of peace and quiet. There are no bright lights, and the night sky is a star-studded showcase!!!
Eats and Drinks on Lubbers

Down Deep – Local fisherman Michael Schreiner sells fish and lobster in season from his “Fish Market”.
More restaurants and shops are on Elbow Cay (Hope Town and the famous lighthouse), Within a 5 to 45 minute boat ride you’ll discover other island hopping and shopping opportunities. Nearby Tilloo Cut offers easy access to the ocean.
A small boat is necessary to experience the full island vacation. See “Transportation” link.
