Located between Marsh Harbour and Elbow Cay (pronounced “key”), approximately 3 miles south of Hope Town, it is one mile long and ½ mile wide. This family friendly island offers secluded beaches for swimming, sunbathing or shell collecting, paths for walking or jogging among lush tropical flora and foliage, bird watching, and lots of peace and quiet. There are no bright lights, and the night sky is a star-studded showcase!!!
Two Restaurant/Bars — Cracker P’s and Lubbers Landing both have spectacular views and full menus including fresh seafood. Lubbers Landing serves lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cracker P’s serves lunch Tuesday through Sunday and dinner on a seasonal schedule. Cracker P’s menu includes a good steak. Both need advance notice for dinner reservations.
Down Deep – Local fisherman Michael Schreiner sells fish and lobster in season from his “Fish Market”.
